It's not so much the fonts themselves, but something about blogger makes the fonts go all haywire whenever you try to add a photo caption. It's infuriating, but since I have no actual coding skills y'all are just going to have to suffer.
Sorry about that, but fixing it requires going into html and fucking around with the code and srsly, who can be bothered. Hey Blogspot, do better. This has been going on for years and your job is to make blogging fun and rewarding not enraging.
